The Fighting Hornet

The story of the Fighting Hornet began when a client, Alan, reached out to Burned by Design with a special request. As a huge fan of Watford FC, he wanted to immortalise the team's nickname and mascot, the Hornets, in the form of a wood burner. However, he hesitated to ask his family for such an extravagant gift, believing it might be too much to ask.

But unbeknownst to him, his family took matters into their own hands and secretly commissioned the piece from Alex Dodson. The Fighting Hornet was created as a one-of-a-kind gift to mark Alan's milestone birthday.

The Creation

Alex at Burned by Design is known for his incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail, and the Fighting Hornet is no exception. The piece was sculpted to perfection, capturing the essence of the Watford FC mascot with its intricate detailing and realistic features.

The Review
